Researcher school. Landscape and plant health: analysing, understanding and modelling the environmental processes involved

The main objective of the researcher school will be to share concepts, methods and tools to enable each participant, beyond his or her discipline, to consider issues concerning landscapes, in connection with the context and expectations of the sustainability of agricultural systems.

Numerous recent studies have shown that the structure of agricultural landscapes has an impact on the dynamics of diseases, pests as well as beneficial organisms and pollinators of crops. The scale of the landscape is therefore a pertinent scale to understand biological and agronomic dynamics.

This researcher school is organised at the initiative of the SMACH metaprogramme and with the participation of the Plant Health and Environment Division.
